Welcome to the Diagox documentation.
What is Diagox?
Diagox is a cloud-friendly SIP and media ingress service built on sipgo and diago.
It operates as a purpose-built signaling and media Back-to-Back User Agent (B2BUA): it terminates an incoming SIP dialog leg and originates a separate outgoing leg. Its integrated media proxy relays and bridges RTP and WebRTC media between endpoints.
Together, these components provide selected Session Border Controller (SBC) capabilities—including SIP topology hiding, endpoint authentication, rate limiting, programmable routing, media relay, and call observability—without positioning Diagox as a full carrier-grade SBC.
Features
- B2BUA call routing and dialog bridging with SIP topology hiding
- Integrated registrar for SIP endpoint registration and discovery
- Media proxy that relays RTP without transcoding
- Inbound and outbound call rate limiting
- Programmable routing and matching for large route sets
- Response-based fallback routing when a carrier or endpoint rejects a call
- Endpoint identification by IP address or authentication
- SIP/WebRTC bridging for browser clients
- Call history with SIP traces, RTCP metrics, and network quality calculations
- WAV call recording as interleaved stereo streams suitable for transcription
- Configuration validation during bootstrap
- Structured JSON logging for integration with cloud tooling
